Currently, I am a preferred provider for Blue Shield of CA, Blue Shield, Cigna, LA Care, Value Options, Beacon, CHIPA, MHN, and Behavior Health Systems, Inc. and will bill them for services provided. I also am a member of Multiplan, which allows access for many other insurance plans. To determine if your insurance plan is a member of MultiPlan, look for the MultiPlan logo on your insurance card. For all other insurance plans you will pay ASJ Family Counseling Center, Inc. the amount agreed upon for our services and will seek reimbursement from your insurance company using a super-bill we provide. We recommend that you consult with your insurance company to determine how much they will reimburse you for our services prior to our first meeting. In this way you know the exposure you may have for reimbursement and take that into account when we agree to the amount you will pay for our services.
My fees are $200 for a 45 minute session, $325 for an 80 minute session, $425 for a 80 minute session of Walk and Talk therapy, and reduced fees, based on ability to pay, are available on a limited basis. I believe everyone should be able to receive treatment, and I do my best to provide it at a fee that is reasonable. I accept cash or checks prior to service for those who are not covered by an insurance plan or haven't charged off their deductible.
As a preferred provider for the State of California for the provision of treatment for those that gamble and seek assistance in controlling their habit or for those that are affected by a gambler in the family, ASJ Family Counseling Center, Inc. will be able to provide free counseling services under the provisions of the state program.
