How I Work

I tailor my work to meet your specific needs since I do not believe that “one size fits all.” I have been trained in many different ways of helping people. First, we need to clearly state the problem so that a goal can be identified. By identifying a goal such as waking up in the morning and feeling like going to work or not arguing over finances anymore, then we will start to discuss the options for change.

Research shows that therapist and client rapport, or how well we get along, is more important for the process of therapy compared to the tools being used in therapy. Therefore, I will work hard to gain your trust and support so that we can have that type of relationship so you will feel comfortable with the outcome of therapy based on the tools we may use.
